Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Scientific Article

This section accepts scientific articles from research findings, literature reviews, and critical thought in the fields of education, social issues, and religion. Articles must be original, unpublished, and written according to the journal's guidelines.

Review Articles

This section publishes review articles that provide a systematic and critical overview of various studies, theories, or approaches in the fields of education, social issues, and religion. Submissions must present an in-depth analysis of research trends, knowledge gaps, and recommendations for further investigation.

All articles in this section undergo peer review and should be based on credible and up-to-date academic sources.

  2. Authors retain all their rights to published articles, but not limited to the rights set forth on this page.
    The author acknowledges that the Journal of Garasi Buku and Obrolan Keilmuan is the first to be published under the  Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
  3. Authors can submit articles separately, arrange the non-exclusive distribution of manuscripts that have been published in this journal to other versions (eg sent to the author's institutional repository, publication in a book, etc.), by acknowledging that the manuscript has been published for the first time in the Journal Garasi Buku and Obrolan Keilmuan;
  4. The author guarantees that the original article, written by the author mentioned, has never been published before, does not contain statements that violate the law, does not violate the rights of others, is subject to copyright which is owned exclusively by the author.
  5. If an article is co-prepared by more than one author, each author submitting the manuscript warrants that he or she has been authorized by all co-authors to agree to the copyright notice and license (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to notify the co-authors of the terms of this policy . Journal of Garasi Buku and Obrolan Keilmuan will not be held responsible for anything that may arise due to internal disputes of the authors.
