Journal History
Journal Garasi Buku and Obrolan Keilmuan (Journal Sibook) is a peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on education, social issues, and religious studies. The journal is published by the Insanulhaq Cidadungu Foundation, Indonesia.
The journal published its first issue, Volume 1, Number 1, in April 2023. Since its inception, Journal Sibook has aimed to provide an open and inclusive scholarly platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to disseminate original research and critical studies.
Journal Sibook is published biannually, with issues released in April and October. Articles are published in Indonesian and/or English, covering interdisciplinary research in education, social issues, and religious studies.
In its development, the journal emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, particularly studies related to educational practices, social dynamics, and religious services that contribute to sustainable and positive societal development.
Sponsorship
Journal Sibook does not currently receive external sponsorship. All editorial, publication, and management activities are fully supported by the Insanulhaq Cidadungu Foundation.
The foundation is actively involved in educational and literacy initiatives, including book publishing (print and electronic formats), the management of the Sibook Community Reading Park (Taman Bacaan Masyarakat), and educational media activities aimed at promoting literacy and community engagement.
